Enthusiastic demand requires new dates in Munich, Hamburg and Leipzig(Arnstorf, 25 July 2011) – Following on the heels of the successes last year and at the beginning of this year, Knürr Technical Furniture GmbH has provided three new dates for the Technical Furniture Forum: 8 November 2011 in Munich, 10 November 2011 in Hamburg and 29 February 2012 in Leipzig. Together with strong partners, control station and control room operators and participants from fire departments, air-traffic control, municipal utilities and representatives from the industrial sector will have the opportunity to inform themselves extensively about scientific and practical aspects of ergonomics and general requirements in control stations and at the workstation. The host was once again able to recruit Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Dieter Lorenz’s commitment to give the opening speech. The author of various publications on the topics of office planning and people-friendly work design, is also involved in research and active on specialist committees and councils. Key topics in the event series in fall and winter are, in addition to legislative and normative requirements, layout planning based on organizational criteria, workplace ergonomics, the workplace in terms of all influencing factors, and the as-is analysis of an existing control station on the basis of a case study. As in the past, both host and partners greatly value the advertisement-free knowledge transfer in the form of technical papers. Eyevis, for example, will be presenting innovative solutions for the intelligent visualization of video and data. As a leading manufacturer of big screen systems for control rooms and control consoles, the company provides complete system solutions for visual equipment. WEYtec will illustrate various methods for efficient working in control stations. WEYtec is a global provider of high-tech solutions for transferring, controlling and displaying various forms of real-time data in trading and control rooms. A presentation given by Fiedler will take a closer look at the principles and requirements of room acoustics, focusing in particular on aspects such as speech, frequency and noise levels, as well as effects on performance efficiency. Host and initiator Knürr Technical Furniture will round off the presentation program with case studies from the field of control room planning and, with the Control Room Forum on 18 October in Dubai, consciously forge a link with the international market. As with the national events, knowledge transfer and information on the latest trends in the control room equipment and planning area will also take center stage at this event. All interested are encouraged to register for the free Technical Furniture Forum at furniture@knuerr.com, |
