Emerson Network Power presents new workstation systems back
  [03.12.2010]

Emerson Network Power was extremely happy with its trade fair presence at Electronica in Munich, where top of the range Knürr workstation systems and mobile equipment trolleys went on show.
The company attracted interested visitors to its stand with innovative developments at the flagship trade fair for components, systems and applications. “The contacts made and discussions held were very constructive for us, since these will result in a number of interesting projects in the medium term,” said Gerhard Buchbauer, General Manager at Knürr Technical Furniture, Emerson Network Power, in drawing his positive conclusion on the trade fair talks. The high number of international visitors also provided some important information: “Our talks with interested parties from all over the world really help our orientation with regard to the expansion of global markets. We received so much positive feedback on our increased activities and intensive information exchanges,” added Mr. Buchbauer.
One of the company highlights at this year’s Electronica was the latest version of Knürr’s Electronics Workstation, which fully and completely meets current technological and ergonomic requirements, and – depending on the model – can be height-adjusted between 680 and 1,280 mm. The workstation is equipped with Rapomos equipment carriers, built-in components and pedestal lights. “Electronica 2010 proved to us how important it is to specifically address customer requests and incorporate these into the product portfolio. Many of the potential new customers were highly impressed by our small but crucial further developments,” concluded a beaming Werner Gropp, Marketing Director at Emerson Network Power EMEA.
The Knürr MetraMobil was yet another highlight at the company’s stand. This equipment trolley is ideal for the most diverse applications, such as incoming goods or PC and printer stations, for example. Its robust sheet steel structure and the variable installation components make it a frequently used basis for customer-specific solutions. With the Knürr DacoMobil the company also presented a tried, tested and proven product in the 19” area, which can be used both as a simple storage trolley, or as a complex analysis or measurements trolley. The Knürr SynergyCart was the latest product development on show at the experts’ stand. Its versatile usage options range from IT trolley in hospitals through to test trolleys in industrial workshops. The basic model can be extended with numerous extras, so that the right trolley can be put together for various areas of application. User-friendly cable management provides exit options to the front over the entire height of the equipment trolley. A generously-dimensioned cable exit from the characteristic vertical columns in the bottom cover tray is also provided. All equipment trolleys feature conductive smooth-running castors for discharging to the ESD bottom cover and an antistatic coating.
The exceptional further developments of the workstation systems and the individual mobile solutions once again fully convinced the trade fair visitors of the technical furniture experts’ competence and expertise.
