Knürr impresses in Berlin with product diversity in the transport technology sector

Knürr AG will be represented at InnoTrans 2010, the international trade fair for transport technology, with system solutions in the control stations and electronics area. In addition to indoor and outdoor racks, the company’s experts will also exhibit tried, tested and proven control station furniture from the ErgoCon und Cicon product series in hall 21, stand 228 from 21 through 24 September.
Completely true to the motto, “The future of mobility,” Knürr presents a product portfolio in the electronics field that ranges from vehicle racks for use in trains, through to outdoor racks for railway crossing systems. Indoor racks that are tailored to the special requirements for using electronic signal boxes will also be presented at InnoTrans. All solutions are characterized by their modular design and can be added to and linked up to existing systems at all times. The outdoor and indoor racks are also equipped with a reliable thermal management system, which fully and completely meets the requirements of the latest technologies. All relevant railway standards are stringently complied with here.
The main points in the control station furniture area focus on technical integration, visualization and acoustics in control stations. With ErgoCon, for example, the company is exhibiting a height-adjustable control room console that meets all ergonomic and comfort requirements and guarantees optimum work conditions in traffic control stations. In addition to plenty of space for technical components and cable integration, the product also provides a stepless lifting mechanism that enables the user to individually arrange their workstation. The TFT adaption on a circular functional rail enables an ideal viewing distance to the monitors. Tilt and viewing angles can be adjusted and set to the respective employee’s needs. The noise level in the entire room is also clearly reduced with the aid of acoustic elements. Benefits that result in more efficient and pleasant work conditions are consequently produced for the user.
